Traditions and continuity

In 1950 All-Union “Energokhimprom” bureau started the production and maintenance of heat-exchange equipment, steam-to-water heaters for energy, chemical and technological purposes, special chemical equipment, steam boiler pipe systems of low and medium power. In 1969 the bureau was renamed to “Soyuzkhimpromenergo” Manufacturing Organization (MO), which created powerful production of power technology, heat engineering and chemical-engineering based on scientific achievement and advanced technology.

In 1992-1995 as a result of privatization and corporatization of “Soyuzkhimpromenergo” MO on the basis of Moscow office was founded the “Promenergo”, which consisted of more than ten companies with diverse kind of activities, i.e. production of equipment, design and erecting works, setup labor, as well as construction works and rendering of different services. At the same time the sanitary engineering and wiring blanks production plant situated in Pokrov town, Vladimirskaya region joined the “Promenergo” Group of Companies. Later it became the major production basis of the Group of Companies.

In 1973 Minsel’stroy (Ministry of Agricultural Construction of USSR) made a decision of building of a sanitary engineering and wiring blanks production plant in Pokrov town, Vladimirskaya region. Construction works lasted in 1979-1986, and on the 30th of December, 1985 the plant manufactured first article - cast-iron lock-nut DN15. In January, 1986 first flanges and pipe bends were manufactured, in 1991 first wiring items were produced. In 1992 the plant, which was named as Elesan SJC was privatized. In 1994 the plant developed a manufacture of new production types, i.e. shell-and-tube heat-exchangers and metallic sheds (awnings). In 1998 the plant was transformed into “Promenergo power-mechanical works” SJC, in 2004 into “Energy Mechanical Plant Promenergo” LLC.

After the merger with the “Promenergo” Group of Companies, starting from 1994 Promenergo works has been developing the manufacture of new production types and technologies. Large-scale cash assets were invested in production capacities and personnel. Today, Promenergo power-mechanical works LLC is a modern and effective company oriented on manufacturing of heat-exchange equipment, fittings and factory-assembled enlarged blocks for heat-and-power engineering purposes, parts of cooling-compressor units. Thanks to the plant, the Group of Companies became one of the leaders in the market of heat-exchanging equipment for heating system in Russia.
